Sage-Grouse politics heat up after feds list Gunnison bird as ‘threatened’

With the main population of Gunnison sage-grouse somewhat secured by local conservation efforts, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service designated the birds "threatened" under the Endangered Species Act.
