During the Colorado legislative session just passed and during the midterm elections last year, state Republicans embraced Arizona-style anti-illegal immigration policy proposals and harsh rhetoric that alienated Coloradans, including non-white Republican politicians and supporters and, perhaps most dramatically, Latino Republicans.
