Becky Long

"Long's Peek" environmental blogger Becky Long is a fifth generation Colorado native with roots on the Western Slope. Growing up in a ranching family and a tourist town, she was raised with an awareness of water and its importance both to country folk and city dwellers. After college and graduate school, she began her professional career advocating for healthy rivers and streams by joining the team at Colorado Environmental Coalition. Currently, she serves as the advocacy director for Conservation Colorado overseeing all programmatic work on energy, water, public lands and state legislative efforts.
