The Environmental Protection Agency has released a series of videos – some in depth interviews, others short clips – from August 14, in which staffers explained what happened the day waste from the Gold King Mines started pouring into the river.
The EPA bills these videos as an attempt to offer the public insight into what happened during the spill. The fragments of footage released below may not give anybody a terribly clear understanding of what happened, but they are an intriguing – if not fractured – look at how the agency’s workers responded to the crisis.
