Within range
Two firearms facilities are slated to open within five miles of each other in northern Colorado later this year. Liberty Firearms Institute and the police departments in Fort Collins and Loveland were looking for ways to share turf, The Coloradoan reports, but the contract was too pricy for police.

Settled
MountainKing Potatoes in Monte Vista didn’t admit guilt, but did pay $450,000 to settle a federal sexual harassment lawsuit. The company also laid off the male supervisor in question and sent a “letter of regret” to the female employees who say he harassed them. Via The Pueblo Chieftain.
