Anti-abortion “personhood” ballot initiative makes 2014 Colorado ballot. Personhood groups have tried to win legal rights for fertilized human eggs through the state’s loose ballot initiative system every other year in Colorado since 2008. The measures have failed by wide margins at the ballot box or have failed to gain enough signatures to make the ballot.
Who’s in charge? Larimer Sheriffs take over Berthoud police, who are under investigation for allegations yet to be made public.
