For Colorado lawmakers, the economy will be the priority when the Legislature convenes in January. And, judging from some of the commentsabout said topic, Monday was a day for commitments — along with clichés and some creative metaphors.
On Monday a committee of lawmakers and members of the Legislative Council met for the first time to talk about creating jobs and boosting Colorado’s economy. Ultimately, as the Denver Post reports, what happens nationally will dictate what happens in Colorado, which lost 13,000 jobs between September and October. That said, here are a few musings uttered during the meeting:
