Need some cash come Election Day? The Denver Elections Commission is paying up to $15 an hour for poll workers to staff voting locations around the city.
According to a newsletter sent out by Denver city councilwoman Jeanne Robb, the Commission is seeking 2,500 poll watchers to work a 14-hour stretch on Election Day or during early voting. The job pays between $120 and $210 and isn’t limited to those who eligible to vote; anyone 16 and up may apply.
“Lunch is provided and you can receive satisfaction from knowing you are helping your fellow citizens exercise one of their fundamental democratic rights,” the newsletter reads.
The application can be found here.
