Schaffer Scandal still making the rounds

Last week in media across the state, Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Bob Schaffer was in the headlines for his visit, set up by lobbyist Jack Abramoff’s firm, to the textile sweatshops on U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in 1999. With the added intrigue involving the jailed Abramoff, this story has also gained traction outside of Colorado.
