    Vice President Dick Cheney is coming out to Grand Junction April 11 to tour oil and gas development on the Western Slope.

    Junction Republicans will raise gas prices by 5 cents a gallon in honor of Cheney’s visit.

    Events include a trip to Parachute, where Cheney will cut the grand-opening ribbon for gas drillers on the Roan Plateau. The Bureau of Leasing Minerals (BLM) will supply the refreshments — cutthroat trout saut
