For the Colorado Democratic Party, he was the “go-to” attorney for legal advice during the 2006 election. This election year, Daniel Stiles from Isaacson Rosenbaum P.C. will have a little more on his plate as deputy chief counsel for the 2008 Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC).
Leah D. Daughtry, chief executive officer of the DNCC, recently named Stiles to the Democratic convention team, where he will be working closely with the DNCC’s chief counsel, Susana Carbajal, on a wide range of commercial and constitutional matters.
“We are so pleased to have Dan on board with us for what is sure to be a truly momentous occasion here in Denver next August,” Daughtry said. “I’m confident his political experience and legal expertise will make a great addition to our team as we plan for the 2008 Democratic National Convention.”
Stiles, an attorney who practices corporate as well as governmental law at Isaacson Rosenbaum P.C., graduated from Colorado State University in civil engineering and received his law degree from University of Denver College of Law. His extensive political background includes serving as the national traveling press coordinator for Al Gore’s 2000 presidential campaign.
“We are excited for Dan. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” noted Isaacson Rosenbaum’s CEO Jon Steeler. “We know he’ll help make the Convention a success for Denver and for the Party’s nominee.”
