Imagine your favorite shot of Colorado in the spotlight during the Democratic National Convention next year. Do you have a gorgeous shot of a sunset over Arvada? Or a photo of Uncle Ed taking a somersault in two feet of powder in Vail? Did you catch a picture of the 500-foot drop off Red Mountain Pass? These photos reflect the essence of Colorado and could be selected to showcase our state at the convention.
The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) is inviting citizen photographers to send in their great shots of people and places that best reflect “the spirit of the Rocky Mountain West.” These images will be featured on the official DNCC website and possibly on the big screen at the convention floor next Aug. 25-28 in Denver.
To enter your photos, go here. Be sure to describe your image, where it was taken and why you selected it for inclusion in this project. And don’t forget to include your name, so you can be famous!
