Ted Harvey hasn’t even been a congressional candidate for a full week, but he’s already got his campaign Web site up and running – complete with his views on a range of topics of current interest. By contrast, presumptive Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Schaffer’s Web site still does not identify his platform so potential voters might learn his positions on issues – nearly seven months after he announced he’s running.Harvey is one of at least four Republican men who have said they plan to run to represent Colorado’s 6th Congressional District being vacated by Rep. Tom Tancredo in 2008 (other possible candidates include Secretary of State Mike Coffman, state Sen. Steve Ward and businessman Wil Armstrong).
On the “issues” page of his Web site, TedHarvey.com, Harvey lays out those topics dear to his heart, including:
