Comparison of SCHIP Reauthorization Bills

The State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), which provides health coverage for more than 56,000 low-income children and 1,200 pregnant women in Colorado, will expire Sept. 30 unless it is reauthorized by lawmakers in Washington. While a bipartisan agreement was brokered in the Senate, lawmakers in the House are fighting over the terms of reauthorization. Here’s a look at how the proposals compare:
