But Colorado’s not the best either, apparently, when it comes to roads and overnight parking availability and rest stops and truck stops.
Like so many magazines seem to like to do, Overdrive (Motto: “For the over the road trucker”) has just issued its best and worst of the road. But as most other best and worst lists, it’s all relative, subjective, and subject to change. Just last year, for example, Money magazine listed Fort Collins as the Best Place To Live in America. This year it dropped to 8th.
And Colorado Springs? Well, Money called the city, population a half-million, the best “big city” (!) to live in the country last year. But this year the state’s second largest city has slipped to #4.
