While much of the town of Holly, Colorado has been devastated by a recent tornado strike, one landmark has continued to withstand the test of time. The old Holly Gymnasium, which was recently nominated to be added to the National Register of Historic Places, survived when much of the rest of the town was torn part.
The Holly Gymnasium was built in 1937 and is a product of the Works Progress Administration as joint project of the federal government and the Holly School District.
