The Colorado Democratic Party had its re-organization meeting in Denver last Saturday and Colorado Confidential was there with camera in hand.
It was a full house at the re-org held at the Adams Mark in downtown Denver. The facilities were very accommodating to the large crowd of Democrats.Two Kens met in the hallway, Senator Ken Salazar (left) and Steamboat Town Councilman, Ken Brenner.
Caught another Salazar there, too–older brother and one of the few working farmers in Congress, John Salazar.
People casually stopped to chat with Governor Bill Ritter, who has been a familiar face at Democratic events for years.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi referred to Congresswoman Diana DeGette as the “Dean of the Colorado delegation.”
Any Democratic Central Committee person hoping to hear an official announcement from Congressman Mark Udall about the 2008 US Senate race was disappointed–this time.
Congressman Ed Perlmutter took time to grip and grin.
