Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, an outspoken critic of gay and lesbian rights, has turned a new leaf and declared herself bi-partisan.
In a series of Friday afternoon e-newsletters to her constitutents that debuted this month, Rep. Musgrave has committed herself to a reach around by crossing the political aisle. From the most recent edition released on February 16:
The Congresswoman supported Democratic legislation to help Colorado’s unique mutual ditch companies and requested a congressional hearing on bills to construct the Arkansas Valley Water Conduit. In addition, she continued her push for agricultural disaster assistance and supported legislation that will prohibit genetic discrimination in health care.
