Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez has been taking a beating in the press in the past several weeks, and much of it has been his own fault. He continually sticks his foot in his mouth by contradicting prior positions on any number of issues (such as saying he doesn’t favor domestic partnerships for gay and lesbian couples…months after he told 5280 magazine that he didn’t have a problem with them), and his selection of Janet Rowland as his running mate only made things worse when it was revealed that she, too, had a penchant for saying silly things.
But it isn’t just news reporters who are picking up on Beauprez’s gaffes
