The newest poll on the Colorado governor’s race is out Rasmussen Reports, and Democrat Bill Ritter is widing his lead over Republican Bob Beauprez. In a head-to-head matchup, Ritter now leads Beauprez 48-39 percent, which is a four-point jump from the last Rasmussen poll. And that isn’t the only good news for Ritter:
Ritter continues to be better liked than his opponent, with 58% viewing the Democrat favorably, and 48% viewing Beauprez favorably.
Ritter has opened up a nine-point lead over Beauprez, a four-point jump from last month. As Square State notes, the newest Rasmussen poll represents the first time Ritter’s lead has been beyond the margin of error of +/- 4.5%. Colorado Pols has been keeping track of all of the publicly-available polls in the governor’s race up to this point. Take a look to see how things have changed in the past year.
