Like any good — or bad — Secretary of the Interior, Colorado’s Ken Salazar will leave Washington in a few weeks with a long list of both friends and enemies. Thing is though, they’re pretty much the same friends and enemies he had when he got there.
One of the world’s premier global warming deniers, Sen. James Inhofe, R-OK, Monday endorsed Rick Perry for president. Colorado politics watchers may remember it was shortly before last November’s election that Inhofe came to Colorado to engage in some joint campaigning with senate candidate Ken Buck.
Jim Carpenter, chief of staff to Governor Bill Ritter for the last four years, announced Monday that he will soon leave the governor’s office to accept a position as a principal at Stratton-Carpenter Associates, formerly Stratton and Associates.
