Colorado’s controversial former U.S. Representative Tom Tancredo spun an edifying Thanksgiving yarn over the holiday week. It was, you might say, an alternative reading of the story of the Pilgrims and the Indians. Among other things, listeners to his show Wednesday learned that, although slavery was not good, African Americans are better off for having been brought out of Africa to live in America and Native American culture is not environmentally friendly, that the trash piled up on reservations tells the real story!
