Two whole weeks! As if her appeal was no greater than that of a pet rock or some other fad. If they were honest, they would have to say that their amazement stems from the fact that their gutter attempts to quickly destroy her haven't worked.<br><br>You have to understand the difference--folks genuinely connect with Palin, a stark contrast to the media-driven popstardom of Obama, which is why Tom here has to admit that he is still a mystery to Americans despite that stardom. Because of this shallowness, Obama will stop being "popular" the second the press and party that built him abandons him, which will happen when he is no longer useful; Palin will have to be torn down by force.
