When you read between the writers lines, what the writer is saying is that Lauri doesn't support legislation that the writer (an obvious liberal and other liberals) would support. That is a good thing, the liberal agenda has hurt our economy, our rights and has expanded government to levels that seriously threaten our freedoms and economy.

You can always tell a die hard liberal by the way they attempt to brand anyone who has limited government ideals and who wants freedom for individuals and businesses instead of government dependency a "right wing radical" Keep in mind, It was the right wing that made our country as great as it is today.

Compromising to appease the liberal agenda has serious blowbacks and we're paying for it today, at the pump, at the grocery store. The expansion of government handouts in hand in hand with growing regulations and burdens on small business and energy producers is showing up in all areas. Clear thinking leaders are what we need, not politicians who'll compromise our livelyhoods and freedoms for popularity.

Our freedoms, our beliefs and our economy shouldn't be up for "compromise" or trading coupons for politicians popularity.

I have seen Lauri Clapp in action & have never seen her offer a rational opinion. She does not address the issues under discussion, but just promotes her extremely right-wing agenda. Although I do not know Linda Newell well at all, I do respect her views. It is obvious Linda Newell cares about listening to her constituants & representing them well. Lauri is not an effective representative as she never earned the respect of her colleagues - that was obvious from watching the dynamics of the hearings I attended.
