With that being said I am a bit ticked off that protesters chose to protest the dnc. I completely understand why they are doing it, but in the long run, Obama is more likely to give a hoot about the protest than mccain, utterly are only hope for something fair. Do you think Mccain will care about these protests and what they are for? Unfortunately its a two party system, but thats the reality of it. Pretty much, protesting the DNC is just as effective as voting for Ralph Nader. I would just like to say, im a full on liberal and I am glad we all have the freedom to protest. This really comes off as an attempt by the police (who outnumbered the demonstrators considerably, by the looks of it), to provoke the demonstrators. How can you justify using pepper spray on nonviolent, unarmed citizens who can't leave since you already have them surrounded? This appears to be a violation of their Constitutional rights, as well as their human dignity. What a disgusting scene... Who are these police "protecting and serving"? I'm going to email this clip to everyone I know and encourage them to join me in calling on the Denver Police, City Council, and our congressional representatives to stop this spectacle.
