Fawcett gets Red Carpet rollout I don't think the fact that Fawcett had kind words for Hefley should hurt him. Hefley earned my respect when he refused to back off on ethics charges against DeLay despite all kinds of threats. Cost him his committee chairmanship didn't it? I think that took a lot of courage and might have cost him the primary. Colorado Springs could have a much worse Republican than Hefley.

Fawcett was gracious and that's fine with me. I don't live up there though and don't know much about any of them.,but I think he's going to need some Republican support in that area of the state to get elected.

Neeed to Run Spelchek I updated the posting to reflect the new information from Mary Ellen McNally, i.e. her frustration about the direction she believes her party is headed.

And, it should be pointed out that someone over at the Fawcett campaign needs to proofread before posting a little bit more carefully. Specifically, get the names spelled right -
