Colorado has incredible solar energy available for the taking. Xcel already has too much baseload capacity and exports a considerable amount of electricity already. I recently read that electricity generation uses 1/2 of all water consumed in the US.<br>Roof-top solar consumes no water after manufacturing except for occasional washings. All the more reason to push for roof-top solar on as many buildings and parking lots as is being done in cloudy Germany which is at the same latitude as central Alberta.
