May I suggest that you do a bit more fact checking.

Schultheis had no opponent in the 2006 primary. I have been his 2010 opponent.

And...I have made not made the argument you attribute to me, then or now, publicly or privately.

I ran against Schultheis because he was too in love with single issue inspired fratricide. I expect that his wing of the party will try to put up someone else, but that candidate will have to carry Schultheis' fratricidal baggage.
