So, sad. I am ashamed to be a member of the GOP. I think I will do as my father, a long time Republican. I am a Conservative. I can no longer be a Republican if the tactics it takes to win election rely on misrepresentation, lies, and fear tactics.

“give the people what they want, and they'll come out for it” This 2009 school board election drew a record 45,000 voters. This is a 71% increase over the last school board election two years ago. We need to thank the teacher's union for all they did to create this great turnout of Douglas County voters!
