ben stein just saw Expelled; the fact that Ben Stein isn't trying to win any popularity contests helps to validate his message... his goal was to promote free thought, especially more thinking about motivations that drive American academia and a lot of other behind-the-scenes worldviews that we tend to take for granted.

Wierd ... ... apparently you didn't read much of what I wrote!

The authors of "Of Pandas and People" knew exactly who they thought the "Designer" was when they edited "God" & "Creator" from their textbook in preparation for presenting it as a textbook for "Intelligent Design." (This has been documented in the transcripts of the Dover trial.)

If you want to cling to some other fictional version, well that's your issue. If so, I'm not the one guilty of oversimplifying.

Creationists are willfully ignorant Do you have any evidence for the supernatural nonsense you believe in? I didn't think so. Why don't you educate yourself? Biological evolution is a scientific fact. If you don't understand that by now, then you are willfully ignorant. Probably you are too god-soaked to understand science even if you tried to study it.

But just as a “by the way,”.. …very much a part of the idea of intelligent design is that we DON'T KNOW who “the watchmaker” is, but that we see what appears to be the work of a watchmaker. I realize that may be lost on you, but perhaps someone else here will benefit from this answer.
