Western Slope I would not presume that Sen. Obama has more of an appeal among crossover voters. See my earlier post.

Both of our campaigns concentrated more resources on the Front Range. We had staffers in Grand Junction and Durango, as I believe they did.

I should point out that our campaign was the only one to talk about water policy at the caucuses. Sen. Clinton has a thoughtful approach to water policy, which I think is something that impacts the Western Slope more than the Front Range.

Healthcare You said that Hillary has a real solution to healthcare plan but mandates mean you have to either garnish someones pay or have heavy fines to get people to have healthcare.

Do you think that mandates would be politically feasible for Republicans and red state Democrats? Can mandates pass congress?

Do differently... I would have made a bigger push with low-income and Spanish-speaking voters earlier on. So many of them couldn't make it to the caucuses because of irregular work schedules and translation issues.

We had a late influx of calls from Spanish speakers who wanted to participate in the caucus. We tried to get translators there, but it's just tough to participate in this kind of process. By that point, it was too late to get the party offices engaged to help out. Something to note for the next round.

feb 5th Caucus operations are based much more on mail and direct voter contact. And we were able to "touch" voters in Colorado so many more times because it is a much smaller universe of voters than California.

I'm not exactly sure what resources we spent in California, but I am sure it was much more expensive to talk with millions of voters and we did as much outreach as possible.

I also think that Feb 5th wasn't just about one state, we showed that can win in states across the country and that is an important strength to have going into the general election. We have now won 16 states to Hillary's 8.

Mass Ground Operation the response on yard signs, buttons etc has sometimes been slow because of the overwhelming demand for Obama gear across the country. On Feb 5th we had campaigns in over 20 states and the demand for Obama probably existed in every state. We are blessed to have so many supporters but sometimes it is hard to keep up.

Trust Hillary's appeal among Hispanics comes from her record as a hard worker and trusted fighter.

I would point to her health care plan. Health care is an issue that ranks very high on the concerns of Hispanic voters. Not only does she have a long record of standing up for affordable health care, she has a real solution for our health care crisis. Her plan leaves nobody behind.
