Take a look at the right lane on the interstates as contrasted to the other lanes. A man's car is akin to what his horse was in the old days before cars were invented, it's just as important to Americans as the horse was, and 2nd only to his home in importance, it's his MOBILITY. It's particularly important in the west where we don't have fast commuter trains, etc. like they do in big eastern cities. <br>Horse thieves were the low of the low in the old days.
