Sorry, you're right Ernest, m'bad. It was a spoof but I should have added the word evangelical to minister.
If certain religions didn't spew hatred on gay people, they would be free to be who they are, i.e. the Rev. Ted had to keep being gay underwraps so Gayle didn't know she was marrying a person who was oriented to the other sex. He probably spent his life with a "devil made me do it" guilty conscience, instilled of course by the "God says you are bad" attitude of some religions. Instead of being a factor to help other gay people, he became their enemy, spewing hatred toward gays. Then comes the meth. to assuage his conscience..Complete hypocrite. It's time for religions to let people come out of the closet

There are occasionally other ministers who get involved in opposite sex liasons, too, by the very nature of their job, counseling, etc. , the old devil made me do it cop out again.
Coiuld I at least say I'm glad I didn't marry a minister?

Still not accepting blame or facing reality is he? He says he is gay because he was traumatized in the 7th grade, but now he has prayed it away.
And someone told him about meth so that's why he used it?
Too bad Gayle didn't boot him out. It's not like a one time fling to forgive, it's years of slipping around and deceiving.
Parents, don't let your daughters marry a minister!!
