		<description>It was months and months of meetings -- many of them open to the public (and quite well attended, the ones I went to) -- testimony from affected local communities, industry folks, wildlife folks...and then hours and hours of deliberations by the Commission, which included people representing industry interests. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I&#039;m sure industry didn&#039;t get everything they wanted -- neither did the enviros. But that&#039;s sort of the definition of compromise.
