The Statesman doesn't bother to question Wadhams on his claim that the Employee Free Choice Act would "eliminat[e] the secret (union) ballot," which is factually inaccurate and a simple repetition of a right-wing falsehood.<br>2. The Statesman blithely repeats Wadhams' distorted characterization of Mark Hillman as having been a "statewide elected official." While Hillman was APPOINTED to a statewide office by Gov. Owens, he never has been elected to a statewide office.
