This might be the only decent thing Bush did.
What's unjustified about shooting a creep who was smuggling drugs into our country?
And when he was caught again he received a lesser sentence than the border cops.
I used to help run an online support group, finding resources, etc. for grandparents raising grandchildren all across the country and a few other countries as well. The primary reason these people were raising their grandchildren was because of the substance abuse of their grown children, MOSTLY DRUGS, occasionally alcoholism or mental illness.
If Ramos and Compean kept just one load of drugs from hitting the streets and further destroying people's lives, it is a good deed.

Bush got the wrong idea. Why be so technical when the drug cartels are putting some good people on a life time drug addiction. Shooting a drug carrier in the rear is nothing compare of the damage they do. Bush should change from commute to complete pardon. You don't know how much Bush & Republicans have lost in donation & support.

If you shot a drug smuggler in the butt, where I live, you wouldn't get a prison sentence. One of your relatives would take you to a Cracker Barrel for a celebratory meal.
