You should include a link where readers could contact Jim Martin if they want to help pursue his goals.

The Constitution Party is still too small minded to attract a wider base, I don't see it growing very much.

Ahh, the Libertarians... so many fringe beliefs, so little media outlets. They are like that creepy uncle who shows up at holiday get-togethers and pontificates even when nobody listens.

The problem with the GOP is that the right wing element doesn't want to give up their power, even if they have finally been proven their ideas don't work in the real world. How do you gracefully let the younger generation give it a try before they just pat you on the forehead and chuckle at your antiquated beliefs, before walking away and rolling up their sleeves?

How can the "Constitution Party" be "Non-nanny, nonn interventionist" AND be 100% Pro-life,, that seems pretty Interventionist to me.

I like the Libertarian's concepts,, but unfortantly they are not realistic. Maybe in a perfect world we could have no regulations and no government intervention,, but that concept doesn't take into account human nature. People are greeedy and lazy. This is why communism and socialism don't work, and it's why 100% deregulation won't work either. We need healthy competition and just enough government intervention to keep the markets stable and the corporations honest.

What I don't understand about the current Republican party is the selective values.. They say dont' regulate my business or my guns,, but we can regulate who you marry. Do they not see the hypocracy?

"Where, Martin wonders, are the fiscal conservative, socially moderate Republican leaders of the past? "

They are in the Libertarian party. If Martin is truly seeking an agenda of fiscal conservatism combined with social tolerance he need look no farther.

The Constitution Party–just 16 years old–is the 3rd largest political party in the United States, and the fastest growing of the country’s so-called “third” parties. Chuck Baldwin, the Constitution Party’s 2008 presidential nominee, set a party record this year for the number of votes he received.

If you’re interested in supporting individuals who genuinely believe in small, constitutional, non-nanny, non-interventionist government, and who are 100% pro-life, you’ll want to check out the Constitution Party.

“Constitution Conscious”
http://www.constitution-conscious.blogspot.com

“Constitution Party”
http://www.constitutionparty.com
