If you don’t have a disability, don’t take parking spots reserved for people who do, suggests a new public service announcement series from The Colorado Advisory Council for Persons With Disabilities.
The spots are short. They’re snappy. And they’re effective at hammering home the message: “Your excuses will never be as good as their reasons: No plates. No placard. No parking.”
In the PSAs, people with disabilities highlight outlandish excuses they’ve heard. Here are a few of the videos and five lame excuses (out of many more):
5) “I forgot the six-pack. I’ll be right back.”
4) “It’s not like it’s a crime, right?”
3) “Nobody ever parks here anyway.”
2) “I’m just dropping off this DVD.”
1) “Chill dude. I just forgot my protein powder.”
