If you believe the polls, and look at the democratic candidate you realize we're very close to that reallity. I find it interesting that McCain has been minimalized by the press for all these months and somehow he's still on the radar at all. With the coverage given the Obama camp you would think they would be 30 or 40 % a head by now. The fact is we just aren't a liberal country. I have a feeling that after Obama is voted in that the press will have a lot of defending to do. They think they really know this candidate. Turns out they didn't know John Edwards very well.
