As a former Colorado resident with continuing ties to the state, El Paso County Clerk Balink's voter suppression tactics fill me with disgust. He is the worst kind of American traitor–Under the guise of enforcing the law of the land, he is really doing everything in his power to subvert both the intent of the laws and the will of the people. My hope is that if he has children, they someday see what a moral failure their father was, that entrusted with carrying out the most sacred of democratic traditions, he acted merely a party hack.
