whoa "wigger hippy-hop kids"????

I don't even know where to begin with a statement like that other than I doubt Jesus' path includes using racist epithets.

It is just so sad The comments continue today. Vile stuff like this:

"I hate him, and everybody like him" infact I would say this as well "I have a rope" and I say we just drag his ass out of jail and hang him as a public warning to all those like him that this is what we will do to people like that. Innocent Cops do not deserve to die this way!!"

And this:

"If more people followed Jesus' path these tragedies wouldn't happen. This used to be a good conservative Christian city. A decent place to raise your kids. Now we find out that Pastor Ted is gay and on meth and these wigger hippy-hop kids can run around shooting everyone. Do we need to bring the gallows back?"

It is just so sad.

Well.... I've been under the impression that drunk-driving stops usually involve at least 2 officers these days simply to increase the number of witnesses available to testify that the field sobriety tests were carried out appropriately. 3 officers doesn't sound like that much of a stretch to me.

Personally, I'm a little more concerned about the media publishing details about an alleged cop-killer from a privacy angle. Sounds like a lot of people are worked up about this one for all the wrong reasons.

that's a very good point, Andrew I hope the media take up that angle because it seems a bit curious even in a law-and-order town like Colorado Springs.

That's a lot of manpower for simply a suspected drunk driving stop.

Since when do three cops participate in a traffic stop? It sounds like there is more to this story than the headlines.
